"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

A big believer in the design process, Joel supports AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Artists) and their role in forwarding professional design. Prior to seeking a formal education he learned design software on his own and designed desktop icons as a freelancer for several software companies. Joel is a graphic designer who is finishing an A.A.A. Degree in Graphic Design from Milwaukee Area Technical College School of Media Creative Arts while applying for scholarships to earn a BA.
